Kitchen hacks for an easier life

Hacks for an efficient kitchen organisation…

We always like to know about new trends and ideas but like most of our customers, we tend to favour the more classic and timeless in kitchen design. The designs you know will stand the test of time and never go out of style. That said, we also enjoy watching how the kitchen has evolved over time, from appliances to design, responding to lifestyle trends with clever solutions designed to make your life easier and more efficient. Here are some great kitchen hacks to bear in mind if you are thinking about a new kitchen design.

Vertical storage compartments

Perfect for storing baking trays and chopping boards rather than stacking them in a drawer. Vertical storage is much neater and easier to access what you need.

Pull out drawers

Low, large cupboards are great because it means a lot of storage space however not so great when it comes to needing something that’s tucked away at the back. Pull out drawers are the ideal solution for this as everything is visible and easily accessible, whilst not wasting any space. Depending on how big the cupboard space is, you can also have levels of pull out drawers.

Paper towel holder

Much like a toilet roll holder, mounting a simple holder to the inside of a cupboard door frees up space on your kitchen counters or under the sink, and makes it even easier to use.

Door storage shelves

Make use of unused space with inside door storage. Door storage trays are perfect for storing cleaning products. Another great solution is adding a simple rail underneath the sink to hang spray cleaners. This utilises wasted space, making them easily visible and accessible.

If you are in the process of designing a brand new kitchen, think about incorporating the appliances and accessories you need to ensure your kitchen flow works for you.
